I decided that UVWXYZ (pronounced "Ultraviolet Witches") would be a fine band name...and decided that they'd be a sort of dark-psych act, maybe from the waning days of that era, 1968ish or so... I think the music came first, but along the way I developed an elaborate backstory involving a tragic label owner, disillusioned band members fighting against social mores, and an obscure recording found again and reissued after years of near-total obscurity.

Uh, anyway. One of the fun things about the genre is I could indulge in fairly ridiculous lyrical conceits without worrying overmuch about whether they made any sense. (As if...I don't do that all the time, I can hear you say.)
